Setting up a Korean liaison office for a U.S. corporation

What happens after the apostille is complete
Once the documentation is complete up to the Apostille, the next step is to notify the foreign exchange bank of the establishment of a liaison office and apply for designation as a correspondent bank.
Then, once you’ve gathered all your documents and received your unique number from the tax office, you’re basically done.
Later, when you create a business bank account, you’ll verify the headquarters shareholder. You’ll need to verify up to step 3 until the majority shareholder is a natural person.
Business accounts often require a Korean representative to visit the bank.
